Due to the semi-porous structure of Rockpave StoneCarpet, dirt, dust, and hair can pass through the surface where it will be held until you vacuum the floors. This allows the surface to be easily kept in a pristine condition and will provide a dust-free environment.
This principle also applies to areas that may get wet. Liquid spilled on ceramic, vinyl, or wooden floors can take hours to dry, unless they are mopped up. StoneCarpet, on the other hand, disperses water through the pores of the surface spreading the water in a manner that increases the speed of natural evaporation.
Cleaning StoneCarpet
To clean StoneCarpet, you simply treat it as any other traditional carpet. It requires vacuuming and any accidental spills can simply be soaked up and cleaned, using a small brush and a mixture of soap and water. The surface will not easily be stained, thanks to the chemical resistant resin, and can be thoroughly cleaned with the use of a wet/dry vacuum or steam mop.
